Zoning Hearing Board Vacancy
The Zoning Hearing Board of North Middleton Township is seeking residents to fill two vacancies and one alternate position.
- Zoning Hearing Board Member - Term through 2024
- Zoning Hearing Board Member - Term through 2026
- Alternate Zoning Hearing Board Member
The Zoning Hearing Board is a quasi-judicial branch of Township government with respect to the Township's Zoning Ordinance.
The Board meets on an as-needed basis to hear and render decisions regarding zoning matters such as applications for variances and special exceptions from the terms of the Zoning Ordinance, appeals from the decision of the Zoning Officer, and any other validity challenges of the Zoning Ordinance.
Board members must be residents of North Middleton Township. Interested residents are requested to fill out a Volunteer Position Application form (PDF).
Please email the Volunteer Position Application to the Township Manager or drop it off at the Township Office, located at 2051 Spring Road, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013.
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm.
These positions will be open until filled.
